How to get there
Cape Coral is a coastal city in south-west Florida situated on
the north bank of the Caloosahatchee river close to the following
airports:
Airport/miles/travel time (approximate):
SW Florida airport (Fort Myers) – 20 miles or 30 minutes
Tampa – 120 miles or 2 hours
Orlando – 200 miles or 3 hours and 15 minutes
Miami – 120 miles or 2 hours
By road, our villa is only ten minutes from junction 143 of the
I75. The I75 is approximately the distance in miles and time to
all the aforementioned airports.
If we fly to Miami, or Orlando, we sometimes stay over and enjoy
a day or two at the theme parks or take in the shopping or stroll
down the Art-Deco beach front in Miami beach before travelling to
the Cape.
